  2. Holland and the Windmill.  Holland Township is a picturesque area that offers the bicyclist variety along the miles of quiet scenic roads.  Although hilly, it is well worth the effort to explore.  Visit the Windmill Museum, enjoy riding along the Delaware River and pass old Indian cliff dwellings.  Total distance is about 21 miles.

Bike Trail News

The smooth & scenic bike TRAILS on both sides of the Delaware River offer miles of riding for the entire family.  Lots of shade, flat, no motor vehicles, park facilities, and refreshments are some of the FEATURES of these routes.  The N.J. trail runs from Frenchtown to Trenton, and the Pa. trails runs from Easton to Morrisville.

However, 2005 flooding has made much of the Pa. trail un-rideable.  Contact www.fodc.org for updates on repairs and trail availability.

PARKING is available at:  Stockton/Pralls Mill, Washington's Crossing State Park, Bulls Island State Park, Holcombe Jimison Museum (back area), Lock #10 Upper Black Eddy, Tinicum State Park, etc.

Recommended minimum TIRE width is 32mm (1.25").  HELMETS are always recommended.
