Jersey law requires the use of a certified bicycle helmet
by bicycle riders, skateboarders, skaters, and passengers ages
17 and under

Traffic Safety Rules & Regulations
- Observe all traffic regulations..... red/green traffic
light, stop signs, one way streets, etc.
- Ride with traffic.....keep to the right, ride in a straight
line, single file, do not weave.
- Give proper hand signals.....turning left, turning right,
slowing/stopping.
- Lights.....at night: white head-light & red tail-light.
- Reflectors.....always: white on front, red on rear, white on
wheels, yellow on pedals.
- Brakes.....must be functional at all times.
- Helmets.....safety approved model must be worn by anyone 14
and under.
- Pedestrians.....give pedestrians the right-of-way.
- Prohibited.....riding 2 per bike, stunt riding, hitching on
a motor-vehicle.
